About Us
Healthy ,Wealthy Girl Child(HEWGICH) is a youth led organisation based in Siaya county. It deals with the girl child by identifying the problems they face and providing the necessary materials for them. We provide them with pads, pants, soaps and give them advice on how to live in the world today.
Pregnancy during teenage years is also associated with a higher risk of health problems such as preeclampsia, anaemia, contracting STDs (sexually transmitted diseases), premature delivery, postpartum hemorrhage, and poor mental health outcomes.
